Lexington First is a Biblically-based church family seeking to love God and love our neighbors.
We believe Scripture shapes what we believe and how we live. We seek to follow Jesus together, grow through the work of the Holy Spirit, care for one another as a church family, and share the love of Christ with our community and beyond.

Worship Faithfully
We gather regularly to worship God through prayer, Scripture, music, teaching, and life together. Worship centers our lives on God and forms us to live for His glory throughout the week.
Transform Daily
Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. Through Scripture, prayer, community, and the work of the Holy Spirit, we seek to become more like Jesus in every part of our lives.
Give Sacrificially
We respond to God's generosity by offering our time, gifts, and resources
for the sake of others and the work of God's Kingdom.
Witness Boldly
We seek to share the hope of Jesus through both our words and our lives—loving our neighbors, serving our community, and helping others discover what it means to follow Christ.

Every generation matters to God. We want to faithfully pass on the hope of Jesus by helping children, youth, young adults, and families know, love, and follow Christ—and equipping them to carry that faith into the generations that follow.
We are a United Methodist Congregation
The United Methodist Church is a global denomination with the mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
A United Methodist is someone who joins in that mission by putting faith and love into action. We believe that God loves all people and that we share in expressing that love. So, the United Methodist tradition emphasizes God's grace and the importance of serving others. We believe that Jesus Christ is the fullest expression of God’s love--showing us the fullness of God's care through Jesus' teachings, death, and resurrection.
John Wesley started the Methodist movement in 18th-century England. His teachings on practical divinity (living out our faith) and appeals to reason and experience form important aspects of United Methodist practice today.
